FIRST, obtain your marriage license.

• Residents of Ohio must apply in the county which they reside. Residents of another state, such as Michigan, may apply through the Lucas County Probate Court located at 700 Adams Street. More information can be located here.

• Applications can be submitted online to the Lucas County Probate here.

• Any and all questions regarding the marriage license process and procedures shall be directed to the Lucas County Probate Court at 419-213-4662

SECOND, walk-in to Simply Married.

• Reservations for same-day weddings are not required, but giving us a call beforehand is strongly suggested. You will enjoy a beautiful ceremony performed by our in-house officiant surrounded by a beautiful atmosphere.

• We will immediately return your marriage certificate to the Probate Court for issuance of your official marriage license. If you do not receive your license in the mail, please contact the Probate Court.
